Barberton OH Newborn Photographer | Amelia

This little lady from Barberton came to the studio wide awake and ready to party for her newborn session. After some snuggles while visiting with her Momma she fell fast asleep and we got some adorable simple images. A simple, clean, classic look is becoming my favorite with newborns to keep the focus solely on them. Here are images from her shoot…..

Maternity Photography is one of my favorites to capture! It’s such an exciting time. This sweet couple is absolutely adorable!  We totally lucked out on the nice weather on the evening of their shoot.  We had planned a possible studio shoot but the sunset was just too gorgeous and outside always wins my vote! Here are a few photo’s from their maternity shoot….

I have been photographing this sweet family from Eastlake, OH  since the arrival of their adorable little guy. I can’t believe he is TWO. We had originally planned on a simple indoor studio shoot, but Mr. E preferred outside….who could blame him the weather was absolutely gorgeous that day:)Living on a farm comes in handy for spur of the moment change of plans. He wasn’t a fan of my camera at first, but oh did the camera love him and those big blue eyes. By the end of the session he didn’t want to leave:)here is a small glimpse of their session.

What…February is over already!!! Is it just me or is 2017 flying by super fast? This month was crazy full of personal projects, fun photo sessions, work work work and unfortunately sickness for a few of my babies. We had some fabulous weather days and we finally got to get outside and play a little. Our house guest Fern (the piggie) even got to go outside, she loved it! I also learned an important lesson this month…..if you take an animal loving eight year old girl to the feed store during chick days you will end up with lots of baby chicks….LOL I am such a sucker for those big blue eyes. Enough random chat I will let the pictures tell the story for our February…..

Lifestyle Photography has always been an interest of mine. In 2015 I decided to start a personal project to document my own families life. I took a photograph a day of my family for the entire year, known as the 365 project. At first I thought it was going to be super easy right I mean with four kids how could I not get in at least one image a day.  As the months went on I found some days I would rock it, get a fantastic image of part of our day, other days it was a quick snap shot without any real thought put into it, sometimes it was a well planned out photo shoot and yet other days it was a late night take a picture of a precious sleeping kiddo. I successfully completed my project for the entire year and made an awesome album with the images. Not all of them were technically perfect, but it didn’t matter I can look back and see a glimpse of something we did every single day for an entire year. I was hooked. I carried the project on for 2016 and it became a part of our day. So of course I am continuing the tradition for 2017, but instead of posting on Facebook every single day as I had for the past two years, I decided to put it month by month in blog posts. We had a bit of a rough start to 2017 and I know my images for January may show that but again that’s the beauty of this project it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be you.
